Shipping Information:

It generally takes 1-3 business days (not including holidays and weekends) for your order to be processed and shipped. Shipping time via UPS varies depending on your distance from North Carolina. Double check to make sure all of the information you submit for your order is correct, or your shipment may be delayed.

COVID Shipping Delays: Please note that sometimes there is an additional few days for shipments to be processed due to shipping delays from our manufacturers. We appreciate your extra patience during this pandemic!

Backorders: Sometimes we have items that are backordered in my warehouse and we don't know until a customer orders that item. Please be patient with us if an item in your order is backordered. I will get you an estimate on the wait time as soon as I know how long it will take to get that item back in stock once the warehouse lets me know.

Discontinued Items: If your item has been discontinued and no longer in stock, I'll be glad to substitute in an item of similar cost or refund you for that item. Again, we won't know an item has been discontinued and is out of stock until a customer places an order, so thank you for your patience. It is not usual for us to not be up to date on discontinued items.

If you live within driving distance of the Birdie Boutique in Durham, NC and would like to save on shipping by picking your order up there, use the "In-Store Pickup" shipping option for free shipping! Please allow 24-36 hours for your order to be available there for pickup. Tamara will email you to let you know exactly when to expect it to be available for pickup.

Please email me for an estimate if you are interested in getting a shipping estimate for a cage. I'll do my best to help you out with shipping and discounts!

Shipping costs are calculated via UPS Real Time. If you would like an estimate for your order before placing it, put those items in your cart and enter your shipping information. The shipping cost will be shown to you on the page after you enter your shipping address before you have to enter any payment information or complete your order. UPS cannot calculate shipping accurately without knowing what is in the order and without a shipping address. Selecting UPS Ground is for US customers only.

If you cannot have your order shipped by UPS and/or you are an international customer, contact me directly at to find out other methods of shipping and to get an estimate.

Canadian Customers: Please select the "International-Billed Later" option as UPS real time will not calculate shipping charges. I will send a separate invoice for shipping once I know the exact amount it will cost from my warehouse. I can ship your order directly via USPS, but you must contact me directly. It will take a couple extra days for me to do it via USPS as I will have to pick your order up. Otherwise, it ships from my warehouse via UPS. Be aware that Canadian Customs will charge you the Canadian tax on your items as if you had bought them in the country. Shipping directly from my warehouse is usually cheaper. You will be billed for the shipping amount later via PayPal invoice once I know the exact amount from my warehouse.

Refund, Returns and Cancellation Policies:

We have a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee. If you aren't happy with your purchase for any reason, please contact us directly at within two weeks of product receipt. In order to receive a refund/credit all returns must be accompanied by a return authorization code. Contact us directly. See return invoice for instructions and warehouse return address. For the safety of your birds, we do not accept returns on toys of food that have been opened. Returns on these items are accepted if they are unopened and in the original manufacturer's packaging. If they come without packaging, returns are not accepted. Thank you for understanding.

Returner is responsible for all shipping costs to return the item as shipping is non-refundable.

There is an 18% restocking fee applied to all returned items if they meet the qualifications above.

Warehouse is not open to the public.

True Love Aviary only sells items that are Avian Vet approved. It is up to the customer to use these items appropriately in their bird's environment. We are glad to be able to help you and make suggestions in the use of our products.
